With this feature, you can select a different background image for various screens. In the attendee view, you can change the background image in the Q&A section, in polls, info slide and raffles. You can also change the background image in the Q&A broadcast view and the Polls broadcast view.

How to change the background image

From the dashboard, navigate to Themes. Open the theme you are using in the meeting, or the one you wish to add a background to.

Open the theme you wish to edit, scroll to the bottom and click "Custom Backgrounds".

Click "Select file" and upload an image for each location you want to add a background. You may keep the background the same for each module (example below), or choose different images for each. Then, you can edit the opacity of the image to ensure better readability.

Image tips

Broadcast slides should use 1920x1080 and be a few hundred KB in size. Broadcast view is almost always in landscape mode (either 4:3 or 16:9)

Attendees can have many different sizes of screens and they can rotate their screen from portrait to landscape mode. As a result, you need the attendee view images to be more flexible. Make sure that your image will still look good if it's cropped. We generally recommend a square for this reason.

If you know that all of your attendees will use the same screen, you can predict a little better what size image to use (although they still might switch from portrait to landscape.) For example, if your users have an iPhone X, a 1218x1218 square image would be ideal.

Do not use text. It makes it harder for some people to read the text you want them to interact with, and it looks worse when it's cropped.

See the theme in Attendee View and Broadcast View

First, ensure the correct theme has been applied to the meeting you are working in. Set the theme in Settings > Advanced Settings

Then, your background will appear behind the UI in Attendee View, Broadcast View, and anywhere else it was applied.
