The Slides module enables presenters to upload and share presentation decks directly with attendees. It’s especially useful for content-rich presentations, such as those at medical conferences, where viewers benefit from being able to:

  • Follow along on their own devices

  • Navigate slides at their own pace

  • Zoom in for a closer look at details

Additionally, with the MeetingPulse PowerPoint add-in, you can embed live polls directly into your slides, creating a seamless and interactive experience.

How to Use the Slides Module

1. Upload Your Presentation

  • Supported formats: .pdf or .pptx.

  • Large presentations may take some time to load.

  • Once uploaded, slides appear in the module with thumbnails at the top for easy navigation.

2. Navigate Your Slides

  • Use the thumbnails, the Next/Previous buttons in the upper-left corner, or your keyboard arrows to navigate through slides.

  • To share slides with attendees, toggle “Play presentation” in the upper-right corner.

Attendee View:

  • Using the expand icon in the upper right hand corner, Attendees can expand the Slides module to full screen for better visibility.

3. Control Attendee Navigation

  • By default, attendees follow the presenter’s navigation.

  • To allow attendees to go back through previously shown slides:

    1. Go to Slides Settings

    2. Toggle on “Allow attendees to navigate through slides”

How to use the MeetingPulse PowerPoint Add-In with Slides module

  1. Embed Polls in PowerPoint

2. Upload the presentation to MeetingPulse

  • Upload the same presentation with embedded polls into the Slides module.

  • The polls remain active within the slides.

3. Share and Run the Presentation

  • Send the slides to attendees using “Play presentation”.

Attendee View

  • When attendees reach the slide with a poll, attendees will see the question on their screen and be prompted to submit their answer.

  • Attendees can answer the poll directly in their Slides module without losing their place in the presentation.

  • If results are displayed (the default), attendees can view them after clicking ‘Submit.’

  • If the presenter allows answer changes (the default), attendees can also click ‘Review My Answer’ to update their response after submission.”

The Slides module lets you upload, share, and control presentation decks for attendees, providing a flexible and interactive experience. Attendees can follow along at their own pace, zoom in for details, and, if allowed, navigate through previously shown slides. With the PowerPoint add-in, you can embed polls directly into slides, enabling live audience interaction without interrupting the flow of your presentation.
