Poll segmentation helps you understand how different audience groups responded to your questions. For example, if an employee survey shows low satisfaction overall, you can compare results by department, location, or another audience attribute to identify where additional support may be needed.

You can segment poll results using:

  • Poll answer, such as “Which department do you work in?

  • Custom attendee data (Additional attendee information in the CSV upload, such as department, location, or role)

You can use any of your polls to segment your audience into teams.

You can find the Show Results by team feature in the Visualization settings.

Visualization settings allow you to control the results view and group the results by team, so you’re able to match results and process information more accurately and efficiently.

Engagement Report Segmentation

Segmentation can also be used to organize and group your results in the Engagement Report. The segmented polls section is enabled through the Polls and Surveys configuration setting.

Make sure to add a title to your segmentation section. Here you can also split by custom data or a specific poll. Then select which polls results to show in the segmented report.

The report will show several segments for each poll you select.

You’re all set! Whether you review the results live in Broadcast View or afterward in the Engagement Report, segmentation helps you turn audience responses into clear, actionable insights.
